Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 11, 2026. Last updated July 21, 2026.
Overview
Wonderful Wizard Reverie is a game in active development, and no public iOS or Android download is currently available. This policy describes the limited data practices used in authorized development or testing builds and planned for future public builds. WWR contains no advertising and no behavioral ad tracking. Because the game features cute animated characters that appeal to children, we treat it as child-directed and design all data practices to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), including its 2025 amendments.
Data We Collect
When an authorized development, testing, or future release build is used, the game collects only the limited technical data described below, and nothing else:
- Crash and error reports. If the game crashes or hits an error, a short technical report is sent to our own error-collection server (and, where enabled, to Sentry, our error-reporting provider) containing diagnostics such as the error details, the screen it happened on, app version, and operating system platform. Reports are grouped by the same kind of random, memory-only session code as our analytics, carry no IP address on our server, and are deleted automatically after 30 days. These reports are used solely to find and fix bugs. They contain no name, contact details, free-typed text, or advertising identifiers.
- Reports you choose to send. The main menu can send a private technical report using only fixed problem choices, sanitized diagnostics, and an optional screenshot captured directly from the game. The form has no typed-message, name, email, contact, camera, chat, or device-photo field. The game screenshot contains only the game canvas and no camera or location metadata. Reports and screenshots are used only to diagnose bugs, carry no IP address on our server, and are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Anonymous gameplay analytics. The game records a small set of gameplay events (for example: a play session started or ended, a level was completed, the garden or pet was cared for, a shop was opened, a purchase succeeded or failed) so we can understand which parts of the game are fun and working. These events are grouped by a random session code that exists only in the device's memory for the current play session. It is never saved, so events cannot be linked to a person, a device, other apps, or even to a previous play session. We collect no advertising identifiers, no location, and no persistent identifiers of any kind.
- Purchase verification. If in-app purchases are enabled in a future public build, they will be processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We receive only the technical confirmation needed to deliver purchased content; we never see payment details.
Optional Sign-In (Leaderboards and Achievements)
Authorized builds may offer optional Google Play Games sign-in on Android or Game Center sign-in on iOS for leaderboards and achievements. Sign-in is never required to play. When enabled and used, scores and achievements are submitted to Google or Apple under your existing platform gaming profile, governed by Google's Privacy Policy or Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not store your gaming profile on our own servers.
Data Stored on Your Device
When the game is installed, progress, settings, coins, unlocks, and seed/run state are saved locally on that device using platform storage so the game can remember progress. This data never leaves your device.
Children's Privacy
We treat the game as directed to children and follow COPPA. The game shows no ads, has no chat or social features, collects no personal information such as names, personal photographs, contacts, or location, and uses no persistent identifiers for tracking or profiling. The limited technical data described above is used only for internal operations: fixing crashes, measuring whether the game works, and delivering purchased content.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep collected data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, and never indefinitely:
- Raw gameplay analytics events are deleted within 90 days; we keep only aggregate statistics (such as daily player counts) that contain no session codes.
- First-party crash reports, player-submitted technical reports, and game-canvas screenshots are deleted after 30 days. Optional Sentry reports follow the configured provider retention period and are kept no longer than 90 days.
- Local save data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the game (or via your device's app-data settings).
Because analytics session codes are random and never reused, we cannot look up data about a specific player. If you have a deletion request or any question about your data, contact us at the address below and we will help, including deleting crash reports where they can be identified.
Permissions
The game does not request access to sensitive device features such as location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, health data, or notifications.
Changes
If the game changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated before the changed version is distributed to testers or submitted to a public store.
